 Inaugural Conference

In October 2016, the NANS inaugural conference was held in New York City at Roosevelt House, which is part of Hunter College–CUNY. The conference included keynotes from Christopher Janaway (University of Southhampton), Bernard Reginster (Brown University), and Beatrix Himmelmann (University of Tromsø). See the schedule below for the full lineup of speakers below. Our thanks to all participants and attendees for an enjoyable and thought-provoking conference!

The conference also featured a celebration and tribute to Dick Schacht, who after some 30 years in the leadership of NANS, has stepped down as executive director.
